If you arent tired then youre fired
It's day two of lab and lectures and our students are looking smarter, talking prettier, and acting more knowledgeable! The day began with fine dining at Bruce Halls, it was a home-style favorite of eggs and bacon, with a side of french toast. Then students got some physical activity in while walking to Wooten for the first lab meeting of the day. In lab 1 we discussed different affirmative strategies in regards to the type of cases that are run. Shortly after, the very talented and expressive Josh Anderson treated the entire institute to a fascinating lecture on Globalization. Issam was very active in the lecture, while he asked interesting and pointed questions. After the lecture it was off to lunch for the ROARing lab. Lunch was good, but not as good as the article groups! Students returned from article group back to lab with a plethora of information and new ideas that they had learned in their groups. Following article groups, it was back to lab to discuss the topic and debrief the demo debate. The students came prepared with questions regarding the debate, and decided it was a very good debate to see. Negative casing, library research and FAN-TAB-U-LOUS dinner were mixed in for the evening up until 8 o'clock when students were allotted time to finish up some work, relax, and get back in the grove.
